ZAKOPANE

Sitting on the mountainous border betwwen Poland and Slovakia, Zakopane is the perfect base to ride the Tatra range in the Carpathian mountains. With top quality skiing and snowboarding for half the price of other better known European alternatives. The Zakopane Tatry Super Ski area is made up of over 15 individual resorts, some independently owned and run. The vast majority are coverd by a single Tatry Super Ski pass, but a few have their own. Between them Zakopane has access to the best variety skiing both Poland and Slovakia have to offer. The different ski areas vary massively with something for everyone, whatever your ability.

Beginners can learn at Nosal ski center which is conveniently situated directly opposite chalet Stardust. While for the more adventurous there’s advanced free riding at 1980m in Kasprowy Weirch. Based on your ability and the snow conditions we’ll work with you on arrival to tailor a weeks skiing to your needs with a selction of areas within the vast Tatra range, so you can concentrate on exploring different parts of these beautiful mountains.
